Document Photos to follow soon.

Dec 19, 1940 Goblet!  If you know Goblets, you know this is super early!

Walter Schneider

Jagdgeschwader 26 (JG 26) Schlageter

From my dear friend Tim...  I've included a couple of his photos that he placed two goblets into the photo.  Only the cased Schneider cup included.  No other cased awards.

But, yes, all the documents are included as well as the very rare and in great condition blue original case.

Tim's color photos for fun, it was his passion to photograph his "children".

Actual photos included will be detailed later.  There are many...

This will take me a few days to get organized with the photos!

Oblt Walter Schneider
Staffelkapitain 6./JG 26 Schlageter
Battle of Britain ace
DKiG
20 kills
KIFA Dec 1941

The tragic end of Walter Schneider will be explained below...

Short story is, Herr Schneider and his staffel were flying low.  A fog obscured the terrain.  Schneider dipped down, his staffel followed, they were all killed..

From Tim, Feb 10, 2014

"Reposition flight to new base.....4 days before christmas 1941.  The weather got worse and worse.....they were in n out of fog and low clouds. On way to Abbeville.....which JG26 would be nicknamed after eventually.....the Abbeville Boys. Mostly flat out there.....except for the Artois Hills. ...which he led 4 of his staffel right into....he was staffelkapitaen so his fault.....5 dead in less than half a second.

10 of his 20 kills were accomplished by end of Battle of Britain
Even tho only DK winner (and that posthumous) I way prefer this goblet (w original case) to an RK winner that only flew second half of war in the east"

NOTE TO BUYERS!  I have many many photos that Tim collected over the years.  He spent, then, over $2000 collecting these one at a time, a few at a time...
ALSO!  The large photo of Schneider viewing his kills on his tail was a photo Tim had enlarged and is NOT in the collection.
ALSO!  The page from the FLUGBUCH is a copy of the page of which I believe I have all COPIES in JPG format which we will email to buyer.  FLUGBUCH Is NOT in the collection, only the copies.
ALSO! I have many jpgs Tim picked up off the net over the years which I will also email to buyer.
In other words, everything I have from Tim, I pass on to you.  This grouping was his proudest because he put scattered items back together.
